Terms and Conditions
Eligibility:
- The Strava Segment Challenge ("Challenge") is open to all individuals who are members of the Kudu Strava Club and have a valid Strava account.
- Participants must comply with Strava's terms of service and community guidelines.
Challenge Period:
- The Challenge will run from December 1st, 2023, to December 31st, 2023.
Entry:
- To participate, individuals must complete the designated Strava segment within the specified Challenge period.
Categories and Prizes:
- There will be separate categories for men and ladies.
- Winners in each category will receive a cash prize of 50 euros.
- An additional 50 euros will be awarded to winners who complete the segment run while wearing any Kudu head accessory (headband or cap) and post a photo on their Strava activity.
Lucky Draw:
- All participants in the Strava Segment Challenge during the month of December will be automatically entered into a lucky draw.
- Overall, lucky draw prizes include 1x hoodie, 2x t-shirts, 1x 5-panel cap, and 4x headbands.
Extra Entries:
- Participants can earn extra entries into the lucky draw:
- One extra entry for following Kudu on Instagram (@kudu.athletic).
- One extra entry for posting a photo of any Kudu head accessory on their Strava activity.
- One extra entry for sharing an Instagram story about the Strava Segment Challenge, tagging @kudu.athletic.
- One extra entry for sharing joining the Kudu Strava Club.
Prize Redemption:
- Winners will be notified via Strava/Instagram and must respond within seven (7) days to claim their prize.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
Publicity:
- By participating, individuals grant Kudu the right to use their Strava usernames, photos, and any content shared during the Challenge for promotional purposes.
Compliance:
- Participants must adhere to all relevant laws and regulations during the Challenge.
- Any attempt to manipulate or compromise the integrity of the Challenge will result in disqualification.
Modification or Termination:
- Kudu reserves the right to modify or terminate the Challenge at any time for any reason, with or without notice.
Disclaimer:
- Kudu is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the Challenge.
Acceptance of Terms:
- Participation in the Challenge constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Kudu reserves the right to interpret, modify, or terminate these terms and conditions at its discretion.
Disclaimer of Responsibility and Liability:
By participating in the Kudu Strava Segment Challenge, all participants acknowledge and agree that Kudu assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries, accidents, damages, losses, or incidents that may occur during or as a result of their participation in the challenge.
Participants expressly understand and accept that engaging in physical activities, including running, inherently carries certain risks, and individuals voluntarily assume all such risks associated with their participation in the Strava Segment Challenge.
Kudu shall not be held responsible for:
- Any injuries, whether physical or otherwise, sustained by participants during the challenge.
- Any loss or damage to personal property that may occur during or as a result of the challenge.
- Any third-party actions or events that may affect participants during the challenge.
Participants are strongly advised to take necessary precautions, including but not limited to obtaining medical clearance, assessing their physical condition, and adhering to safety guidelines while participating in the Strava Segment Challenge.
It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure their own safety and well-being during the challenge. Kudu disclaims any and all liability arising from or related to participant involvement in the Strava Segment Challenge.
By completing the challenge, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions, including the disclaimer of responsibility and liability.
